Pedro Coimbra

Pedro Coimbra, Assistant Director and Dance Instructor
From the bustling city of Porto, Portugal, Pedro Coimbra emerged as a captivating figure on the global dance scene. His passion for movement and expression ignited from an early age, leading him to blossom as a full-time professional dancer, competitor and teacher.

Following an audition that recognized his talent and dedication he was awarded an EU Scholarship, enabling him to pursue advanced dance studies in England. He graduated from Leeds University's NSCD, earned teaching qualifications with the UKA and ISTD, and further enriched his knowledge by doing an MSc in Dance Science at London City University.

Pedro's versatility extends across a diverse range of dance styles, including Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Latin Dances, Swing Dance, Spanish Dancing, Lambada/Zouk, Contemporary Dance, and Salsa, amidst others. His expertise has taken him to various corners of the globe, where he has shared his passion with dancers worldwide in countries such as Portugal, the United Kingdom, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, France, the United States, Colombia, Ecuador and the Netherlands.

His accolades extend beyond his performances and teaching. Pedro has garnered numerous national and international competition wins and finalist placements. He has also had the privilege of working alongside world champions and renowned dancers, teachers, choreographers, and fitness professionals, such as:

Maria Fernanda Jaime

Maria Fernanda Jaime, Dance Instructor
Internationally acclaimed Cuban dancer and teacher, Maria is an accomplished dancer and teacher in styles such as Ballet, Contemporary and Latin Dances. Maria has studied and danced for over 10 years in Cuba and the USA, to gain her academic and professional certifications as a dancer and a teacher.

Maria was a soloist in prestigious companies like Ballet De Camagüey, Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Naples Classical Ballet and has also danced with the Cuban National Ballet.

Recently she has been teaching private classes for the preparation of Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), the world's largest dance family and the world's largest student ballet scholarship audition. Maria teaches group and private dance classes for all ages and levels and looks forward to meeting you.

Melissa Daggett

Melissa Daggett, Event Coordinator and Dance Instructor
Originally from Texas, Melissa has been dancing for 15 years, and specializes in classical ballet, International Latin ballroom, Salsa and Bachata. She has been a competitive ballroom dancer in competitions such as The Ohio Star Ball, The Las Vegas Holiday Dance Classic and The Killick Classic, where she placed 1st in Silver Level International Latin, and also took 1st Place in Silver Solo Division in both Rumba and Samba with her then professional coach Vyacheslav Polubnev.

Melissa is not only part of the teaching staff at Allstar Dance Studio, but she is the Event Planner and Social Media Promotions Manager.

Melissa has performed with prestigious dance companies in the US and abroad such as Salcity of Angels, Intl based in Mexico and Ohio USA, where she performed at the Miami Salsa Congress for two consecutive years, both on a Salsa and Bachata team and also with her then partner Martin Velasco, performing couples bachata onstage. She also studied and trained with international renowned coaches such as Shirley Ballas from Dancing with The Stars, American Rhythm US Champions Nazar and Irina Kudryashova, Oksana Zolatarevskaya,Roman Italyankin and 9 Time Salsa World Summit Champions and World of Dance Finalists, Karen y Ricardo.

With a degree in Music and Piano Performance from Texas Tech University, where Melissa performed in many musical theater performances, she brings a unique stage presence and musicality to her dancing. Also a performing artist as a singer/songwriter and musician, she is able to teach dancers how to really capture and audience and connect with their audience when performing.

Robert Wiegman

Robert Wiegman, Dance Instructor
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. USC film school graduate 1995 bachelor of arts degree in cinema television production.
1995 to 1999 worked as a story analyst/executive assistant at universal Studios, Disney, Hallmark Hall of Fame, National Geographic television, Tales from the crypt productions.
In 2000 started Ballroom Dancing career teaching in Nashville Tennessee at national dance clubs Bellmeade and Brentwood.
2004 to 2005 professional dance teacher at Fred Astaire Fort Myers and Naples, Florida full silver certified American style rhythm and smooth, as well as Samba salsa Bachata merengue and West Coast swing.
Runner up top teacher at Chicago national Fred Astaire.
2006 through 2008 teacher at Arthur Murray dance studios Winter Park and Tallahassee Jacksonville Florida.
2009 to 2023 Self-Employed Tallahassee Florida D.B.A. spectacular Ballroom.
Annually performed competitions pro am at Sarasota challenge and Florida classic series competitions in Florida.
2015 to 2023 taught my favorite student, all the way through intermediate silver.
July 2023 started teaching dance at Allstar Dance Studio Naples Florida
